GRRL! SUMMARY:
- BRITTANY FORCE delivered her first Top Fuel win of 2025 at NHRA New England Nationals, running 3.694 seconds at 340.39 mph to defeat points leader Tony Stewart in an emotional final round. The victory ties her with legend SHIRLEY MULDOWNEY at 18 career Top Fuel wins—the most by any female driver in the category. Force dedicated the win to her father John, making it even more meaningful as it came at the same track where he earned his final victory before his serious crash last year.
- Force’s path to the winner’s circle included defeating Clay Millican, Shawn Reed, and No. 1 qualifier Doug Kalitta, with her semifinal blast of 3.681 seconds at a track-record 341.42 mph coming tantalizingly close to her own world record of 341.59 mph set earlier this season. Her crew chief David Grubnic’s pre-run advice to “drive from the heart” perfectly captured the emotional weight of this milestone victory for the Force racing dynasty.
- In Pro Stock, ERICA ENDERS reached the final round but fell to Greg Anderson’s track-record 6.469-second pass, showing she remains a consistent championship threat despite the runner-up finish. While Anderson celebrated his 109th career win and third of 2025, ENDERS continues building toward what could be another title run as the Pro Stock season develops at Bristol Dragway for the next stop June 6-8.
