GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MARIA HERRERA delivered her most commanding performance yet, pulling away from the pack to win by 1.395 seconds at Hungary’s Balaton Park Circuit. The championship leader secured her fourth victory of the season and 10th career WorldWCR win, extending her points advantage to 18 over BEATRIZ NEILA after the Spaniard dropped from pole to third following a final-lap mistake.
- CHLOE JONES capitalized on NEILA’s late error to snatch her career-best P2 finish in a brilliant final-chicane move. The British rider backed up her maiden podium at Donington with another stellar performance, jumping from P6 on the grid to battle with the leaders throughout the race. Her consistency is proving she belongs in the championship fight.
- The race turned into a proper four-way battle when SARA SANCHEZ fought through the pack to briefly lead, but the Terra & Vita rider couldn’t hold position and dropped to P5 despite showing the pace to win. Meanwhile, ROBERTA PONZIANI set the fastest lap while climbing to P4, and AVALON LEWIS maintained her perfect top-10 record in races she’s finished this season.
