DYSTANY SPURLOCK Makes History as Second Black Woman in NHRA Pro Stock Class

• DYSTANY SPURLOCK is making motorcycle drag racing history as only the second Black woman to compete in NHRA’s elite Pro Stock Motorcycle class, debuting June 20-22 at her home track Virginia Motorsports Park. She joins Peggy Llewellyn in this exclusive club, breaking into one of motorsports’ most underrepresented categories after years of grinding toward this moment.
• When corporate sponsors wouldn’t step up, Foxxtecca founders Chris Harris and Kellie Crawford put their money where their mouths are, personally funding SPURLOCK’s campaign after supporting her since 2021. Harris didn’t mince words about the DEI conversation, saying they’re “embracing it fully” while calling out companies that passed on backing her obvious talent.
