• Six-time Pro Stock champion ERICA ENDERS finally ended her brutal 30-race winless streak with a historic 50th NHRA victory at Indianapolis, timing her breakthrough perfectly for the start of the Countdown to the Championship playoffs. After enduring six first-round losses and even missing a qualifying session this season, Enders and her Elite Motorsports team have clawed back from outside the top 10 to eighth in points – and she’s bringing that “monkey off our back” energy into Reading where anything can happen in six races.
• The Pro Stock field has been absolutely dominated by KB Titan Racing’s Greg Anderson and Dallas Glenn, who’ve combined for nine wins and made 6.40-second passes look routine while building a 400-point cushion over the rest of the field during the regular season.
