GRRL! SUMMARY:
- BEATRIZ NEILA delivered a masterclass in wet weather racing to claim her third WorldWCR victory of the season at Balaton Park Circuit. After MARIA HERRERA grabbed the early lead from third on the grid, NEILA executed a picture-perfect outside pass that left just enough room for CHLOE JONES to follow through, dropping the championship leader to third. The win cuts Herrera’s title lead to just nine points with momentum clearly shifting toward the Ampito Crescent Yamaha rider.
- The battle for fourth became a proper slugfest between SARA SANCHEZ and ROBERTA PONZIANI, with Ponziani making her move stick with just two laps remaining. After Sanchez lost ground early with a wide moment at turn one, she spent the entire race clawing back positions but couldn’t quite reclaim fourth. Meanwhile, JONES set the fastest lap while chasing NEILA to the flag, earning her third podium in four races and proving she’s becoming a consistent threat at the sharp end.
- The depth of talent in WorldWCR continues to impress, with rookie LUCIE BOUDESSEUL maintaining her perfect top-10 record in every race she’s finished this season. AVALON LEWIS improved from her Race 1 result to claim seventh, while ASTRID MADRIGAL has now missed the top 10 only once all season. This level of consistency across the field shows we’re watching a championship where any mistake could be costly as the title fight heads to Magny-Cours.
