The 2024 runner-up showed she’s ready to challenge for the title, breaking lap records while putting in efficient 32-lap sessions that suggest serious championship preparation.
• BEATRIZ NEILA kept the pressure on from her Day 1 pace-setting performance, sliding into third with a 1’40.783s that kept her within striking distance of the Klint Forward duo. Meanwhile, JESSICA HOWDEN impressed in fifth place, showing the South African has the speed to mix it with the established frontrunners this season.
