GRRL! SUMMARY:
- Championship veteran MARIA HERRERA heads to Cremona as the woman to beat after winning more races than anyone in 2024 – though she finished runner-up overall. She’s joined by SARA SANCHEZ, the only other 2024 race winner returning, plus podium regulars BEATRIZ NEILA, ROBERTA PONZIANI, and TAYLA RELPH who are all hungry to turn rostrum appearances into title runs.
- The rookie class brings serious firepower with CHLOE JONES already proving herself with double P6s at Jerez and AVALON LEWIS scoring a P5 as a wildcard at this very circuit. Fresh faces LUCIE BOUDESSEUL, NATALIA RIVERA, MADALENA SIMOES, and BILLEE FULLER get their first WorldWCR taste, while JAMIE HANKS-ELLIOTT steps up from her half-season debut to a full campaign.
- This two-day test gives every rider 10 practice sessions to dial in their Yamaha R7s and establish the early pecking order before the season opener at Assen. With 20-minute sessions starting Thursday at 12:15 local time, we’re about to see who spent their winter grinding and who’s ready to make history in what promises to be the most competitive WorldWCR season yet.
