GRRL! SUMMARY:
- Two-time Top Fuel world champion BRITTANY FORCE absolutely obliterated the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park record with a blistering 3.666-second pass at 339.79 mph, claiming provisional No. 1 and her fourth top qualifier spot this season. While she’s conquered just about everything else in drag racing with 56 career No. 1 qualifiers, Force is still chasing that elusive first U.S. Nationals victory – the one trophy that’s been playing hard to get despite her being runner-up twice.
- ALEXIS DEJORIA continues proving she belongs in the conversation with the Funny Car heavyweights, securing third place with a solid 3.891 at 329.02 mph run in her Dodge Charger. While Jack Beckman grabbed headlines with his tribute car theatrics, DeJoria quietly delivered another strong qualifying performance that keeps her in contention for eliminations at drag racing’s most prestigious event.
- In Pro Stock, ERICA ENDERS landed third with a 6.528 at 211.26 mph, staying right in the hunt despite Greg Anderson’s record-breaking 6.491 dominating the headlines. The reigning world champion proved once again why she’s a consistent threat at every major event, positioning herself perfectly for another deep elimination run at The Big Go where anything can happen come race day.
